I have an admission to make to you…

Because of some social obligations, I am writing this email to you as the markets open on Friday morning even though you won’t see it until Saturday. 

The social obligation I am committed to is a Fall beach party.  

A few of us northern transplants in my area get together the first week of fall every year and celebrate that we aren’t going to see snow this year and that we can swim 95% of the year.  

There’s always a few days each year when it’s too cold for a swim, but only a few!

As I write this New York City is in the low 60’s – which admittedly is nice weather.  However, in a month or two…not so nice.  

Here, it is in the low 80’s with an amazing ocean breeze that makes it feel like paradise.  

What does all of this have to do with trading?
