I’m not a “Polly Anna.” You know the type, someone who tries to put a sugary sweet spin on everything.
As a matter of fact – even though I am a long-term optimist – I tend to be a short-term pessimist. What I mean is that I assume everything will work out well but anything that can go wrong on the way will go wrong.
That’s why I trade like I do.
I assume that we will destroy the S&P every year (which we have since inception in 2015), but I also assume every trade will need constant monitoring and regular rolls because the market is irrational and each trade might go belly up at any moment.
My approach creates a lot of stress for me during the week but is well worth it because Option360 subscribers and I reap the benefits.

We are seeing a lot of uncertainty in the world today. Natural (and some not so natural) disasters, political unrest, a resurgence of the pandemic…
If you were to get caught up in the day-to-day, one could be excused for believing everything is coming to an end.
However, a good friend just shared with me that, while he was bemoaning the state of the world to his father, his father started laughing…
And explained that when he was young, he told HIS father (my friend’s grandfather) that the world was ending and it was all for naught.
Needless to say, the world didn’t end. And it won’t now – even if things look bad in the moment.
Long-term optimism my friend.
