We haven’t had a whole lot of activity in Options360 over the last week or so, given the recent FOMC meeting.
Truth is, while volatility does offer great opportunities, it also creates an increasingly risky environment…
And above all, we are risk averse in Options360.
You already know my rules…
- We never force anything. If it’s not a great set up, we skip it.
- We never trade anything naked. All trades have a predetermined and defined risk.
- We monitor and make adjustments to minimize risk and maximize gains.
That’s why we are up over 21% YTD and the S&P 500 is down 21.53% YTD.
That’s close to a 45% swing between Options360 and our benchmark.
Clearly our plan is working.
While we are risk averse, we aren’t scared to pounce on great trades when we see them. We do are best due diligence so we are always prepared to act.
That’s why as you read this, just like a Florida Panther watching from the mangroves, I am watching several stocks right now just waiting to pounce!
It would be great if you were able to pounce with me…

As for some parting words, remember this, failure to prepare is preparing to fail. Make sure you’re prepared for what ever the market throws at us next.
