Did You Miss These Trades?

Dear Reader,

It’s been a busy few weeks in my Options360 trading education program.

This morning, we closed a trade in QQQ for a whopping 42% return in just 7 trading days. Not bad when the market is in trauma, don’t you think?

We also opened a new trade yesterday.

Here is the alert (I sent minus the exact trade):

Banks are going to kick off earnings season later this week.

Financials have nor performed well this year despite the notion they should benefit from higher rates which usually translates into higher net interest margin (lend long term borrow short term) due to an inversion in the yield curve and worries a slowing economy will squash lending along with other banking activities; mergers, IPOs, bond issuance.

I think they will have a tough time providing positive guidance.

And despite most banks being well capitalized I think there is a real concern regarding what lurks behind the balance sheets regarding leveraged counter party risk ala UKs pension fund debacle.

Let’s establish a small bearish position in the Financial Select SPDR ETF (XLF)

You can see we are maintaining our bearish bias.

It’s almost certainly too late for you to get in on this trade, however, you can make sure to grab the next profit generating trade.

Options360 is up over 22% YTD. That’s not a single trade – that’s the entire portfolio including winners and losers.

With the S&P 500 25% down for the year, that’s almost a 50% swing!

To Your Success,
